Section 554
Provisions relating to transfer of ownership of goods

(1) If there is an agreement for the sale of a specific or certain item, the transfer of such item shall be done in accordance with the terms of the agreement, the conduct of the parties, and the intention of the parties from the related circumstances. (2) Unless otherwise provided in the contract, if a contract is made where a specific item can be delivered immediately, it shall be deemed that the parties intend to transfer the item after the contract is concluded or the price of the item is paid.
(3) In the case of a contract where a specific item can be delivered immediately, if the buyer has to measure, weigh, check or do any other work to determine the price of such item, then the item will not be handed over until such work is done and the seller is informed about it within a reasonable time.
(4) Except as otherwise provided in the contract, the contract shall be deemed to be concluded at the place where the goods sold or to be sold are located.
(5) Except as otherwise provided in the contract, it shall be deemed that the buyer's right or ownership in such goods shall be maintained at the time of delivery of the goods to the buyer.
